On October 31, 1830, a prominent Russian historian-orientalist, linguist, numismatist, archaeologist Vladimir Velyaminov-Zernov was born. His authorship belongs to the work «Materials for the history of the Crimean Khanate», which includes documents extracted from the Moscow main archive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
