«Tuvgan tilninin bayligi» — a project of «Armanciq» magazine about Crimean Tatar dialects

Do you know what a grandmother is called in the village of Arpat? Or what in Crimean Tatar «oil» is called, which the Kerch Peninsula is rich in? You can find out thanks to a new video project of the children’s magazine «Armanciq» called «Tuvgan tilnin bayligi» («The Richness of Your Native Language»). The staff of the magazine and their little heroes went on an expedition to various Crimean villages in search of dialect words, as well as interesting toponyms and stories of local residents. The result was 5 videos about the villages of Uskut, Arpat, Taraktash, as well as Kerch and Bakhchisaray.
