For over 30 years, journalist and writer Zera Bekirova has been working on the history of the Crimean Tatar national movement. She is the author of many articles, as well as the books «Vatan Yoluna Baghyshlangan Ayat» («Life dedicated to the way to the Motherland»), «Rakamlar shaatlyk ete» («Figures testify») and the 4th volume «Adalet kureshi saflarynda» («In the fight for justice «). The latter tells about the participants in the national movement. The first 3 volumes of the book were written by a member of the national movement, poet and writer Idris Asanin.
