A Crimean Tatar Usein Dzhemilev is an Honored Scientist, Organic Chemist, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan. He is the founder of the chemistry of small, medium and giant metallacycles of non-transition metals. Dzhemilev is the first director of the Institute of Petrochemistry and Catalysis in Ufa, which, in addition to industrial and oil research, is developing new medicine against cancerous tumors.
