A native of Akyar (Sevastopol) Shafika Kutdusova devoted her life to art, becoming the lead soloist of the Crimean State Song and Dance Ensemble, and then of the Opera Theater in Kazan. Blows of fate laid in wait for the talented artist at every turn, and her nationality became the main reason for the troubles of the famous singer and actress.
