Sergey Druzhinin: Russian voice of Crimean Tatar poetry

A historian, museologist and official of the Ministry of Culture of Crimea – and also a poet and translator of an enormous talent. This was Sergei Druzhinin – the man in whose voice Bekir Choban-zade, Ashik Umer, the khans of Bora Gazi II Giray, Mengli I Giray, Haji Selim Giray and many others spoke in Russian for the first time.
