Memet Vani Yurtsever was a Crimean Tatar playwright and writer. He was born in Romania, dedicated his life to teaching, and participated in the publication of the magazine «Emel.» Due to persecution by the communist regime in Dobruja, he was forced to immigrate to Turkey. He died on May 18, 1994.
