At the end of the 1980’s, when Crimean Tatars had started massively coming back to Crimea and tried to survive in their homeland, a resident of the Mazanka village started a Crimean Tatar children’s folk theater called “Adet”. She dedicated all her life to the troupe, bringing up several generations of talented artists. “Adet” was invited to take part in many festivals and festivities, where the troupe represented the Crimean Tatar culture through theatrical performances of such traditions as wedding, hospitality, Crimean Tatar songs and dances. Soon the troupe received a People’s Artist award in Crimea, and Lutfiye-hanim became an Honored Worker of Culture of Crimea. 75 year old Lutfiye-khanym passed away in the beginning of 2023.
