Feyzulla Malakhaev was awarded three medals for the defense of Odessa, Sevastopol and the Caucasus. He was a participant in all the heroic feats of the cruiser «Red Crimea» during the Second World War. But this did not prevent the Soviet government from behaving inhumanly with him and his family.
