Scholar Diya ad-Din bin Sad Allah al-Qirimi lived in Crimea for a long time. And although he himself was of Persian origin, his stay on the peninsula affected his fate. Here al-Qirimi held an important position as an assistant judge, received additional education and developed into a famous scholar.
