Abdulaziz bin Afifeddin Abdullah was a Crimean Tatar scholar known as the poet Izzi. He was a mentor at one of the Sufi lodges in Turkey and also served as the qadiasker (supreme judge) in Crimea. His poetry is a vivid example of Sufi lyricism.
