Thanks to Dr. Zhivago, we can imagine what Crimea was like at the end of the 19th century. This is not about the famous novel by Boris Pasternak. Doctor Zhivago really existed. But whether he became the character’s prototype of the novel with the same name is unknown. Alexander Vasilyevich Zhivago was a versatile person. He worked as a doctor, was fond of theater, collecting ancient Egyptian art, photography and traveled a lot.
