Crimea through the eyes of the French artist Auguste Raffet

In 1837, the famous French artist Auguste Raffet came to Crimea. On his lithographs, he skillfully depicted scenes from the life of Crimean Tatars, Karaites, Gypsies and Armenians. His works have not only artistic but also historical value. After all, thanks to them, we can imagine what Crimea was like almost 200 years ago.
