Abidin Mamutov is one of the few Crimean Tatars who became a submarine sailor. During the war, his boat delivered food and weapons to occupied Sevastopol. Under Mamutov’s command, the Italian tanker Araks was sunk. Abidin Mamutov’s boat sank off the coast of Bulgaria while on another mission.
