On April 17, 1938, the most prominent representatives of the Crimean Tatar intelligentsia were executed, the best of the best are the flowers of the nation. Among them there are those that very few people know about, although their contribution to the development of the Crimean Tatar culture was considerable. Among those executed was Abdul-Kerim Dzhemaledinov, a Crimean Tatar linguist, teacher and translator, author and editor of a number of textbooks.
