The actor Hayri Emir-zade is known at least for his lead role in the first Crimean Tatar feature film “Alim” which brought him fame and made him one of the most wanted actors of the Soviet cinema. But not too many people know that he also had an education in fine arts and spent last years of his life working as a shoemaker and died in poverty.
