We recently reported on excavations near the village of Palapan (Belinskoye), where traces of the Bosporan Kingdom were found — fragments of a Zeus statue and a mirror with symbols resembling tamga, as well as a series of prehistoric animal bones about 2 million years old. However, in recent months, other unique artifacts have been discovered in Crimea — a 45-million-year-old shark tooth, dinosaur bones over 135 million years old, and a burial near Kurshun-Jami in Eski Kirim that could change our understanding of the ancient mosque’s history.
