Shamil Alyadin, Yaya Sherfedinov, Ilyas Bashkhikh, Yusuf Bolat, Umer Ipchi… The Specialists’ House in central Aqmescit is notable not only for its unusual architecture but also for gathering dozens of prominent Crimean Tatars under one roof in the late 1930s. This house was one of many similar improved-layout apartment projects built in major USSR cities for cultural workers and party officials.
