The Botanical Garden at KFU (V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University) is one of the favorite places for walking among residents of Aqmescit. But a hundred years ago, this garden was a true scientific laboratory and school for garden workers, pomologists, and breeders. Founded in the early 19th century by Academician P.S. Pallas, the Salhirka Park became the base for the Simferopol Experimental Pomological Station.
