Vejihi Asan Efendi was a 17th-century scholar and historian who became a prominent figure in Turkey. He served as secretary and keeper of the seal for Kara Mustafa Pasha. He authored a major historical work, manuscripts of which are held in libraries across Turkey, Austria, the Netherlands, and Italy.
