Crimea has always attracted creative people – the nature and culture of the peninsula have been an inexhaustible source of inspiration for many writers, musicians and artists. At the beginning of the last century, Konstantin Korovin (1861 – 1939), one of the most significant Russian impressionist artists, whose creative heritage includes dozens of landscapes of Crimea, also linked his fate with the peninsula.
