How did the Crimean Tatars of the South Coast eat

We often hear that our grandparents were healthier. Probably they ate better? Most often Crimean Tatars of that time ate lamb, and the main dishes were cooked in mutton fat. Back in the 19th century Doctor of Medicine Shchepetov analyzed the diet of Crimean Tatar families on the southern coast, from Alushta to Alupka. Bread was made of unseasoned flour by the South Coast people. They ate a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables, and always drank coffee for breakfast.
