An important element of the Crimean Tatar national costume is a belt — kushak. It is present in both male and female costume. The men’s belt should be around the owner’s waist 3 times. Women’s belts were of several types and spoke not only of social status, but also of the woman’s marital status. In preparing the publication, materials from the senior researcher of the Bakhchisaray historical and cultural museum-reserve Lenara Chubukchieva and Ayder Asanovэ’s resource Miras Silver resource were used.
