In the old days, the youth of the village of Ulu-Uzen would gather at the life-giving spring Cıyın Çoqrağı to spend time with friends and family. This custom, known as cıyın (gathering), was an integral part of the village’s cultural life, which is how the spring got its name. These evenings were a true celebration for the soul – merriment and laughter filled the air, and traditional songs and dances by the mountain river enlivened the atmosphere. In this way, the residents of Ulu-Uzen not only preserved their traditions but also created memories that are now passed down from generation to generation.
