«Evim Qırım» — Crimea That We Must Preserve

What is a Crimean Tatar house like? 2 years ago, photographer Beye Shevkieva began photographing old Crimean Tatar houses, which are becoming fewer and fewer every year. This is how the «Evim Qırım» («Crimea, my home») project was born. Its goal is to show the beauty and color of national architecture and draw attention to crumbling old houses and buildings. Beye Shevkieva shares the results of her expeditions on social networks. In addition, some of the project’s photographs were included in the «Evim Qırım» calendar for 2025.
