Seydamet Mamut was born in Balakhna in 1944, 4 months after deportation. He had been in different places of the foreign land, until in 1974 he returned home — to Crimea and joined the national movement of Crimean Tatars. For over 40 years he has been living in Qarasubazar. This year, together with his wife Elvira Dzhemileva, he will celebrate the «golden wedding».
