Rayime Aliyeva, a native of Alach village in Saky district, is 90 years old. She began her long and painful exile as a 9-year-old child with her mother, brothers, and sisters. In a foreign land, Rayime-khanym had to grow up quickly, working in fields and picking cotton. Each day was a struggle for survival, but even in the hardest times she never lost hope of returning home. She realized her dream of returning to Crimea with her family in 1991.
