May the 13th marks the 90th birthday of Lenara Alimova—a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, and lecturer at F. Yakubov Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University. Born in Aqmescit (Simferopol) in 1935, Lenara Umerovna endured the horrors of war and occupation in the village of Demirci, followed by deportation from her native Crimea and years of starvation in exile. After enrolling in a pedagogical institute, Lenara Khanim dedicated her life to academia. She is the author of dozens of scholarly works and textbooks, fondly remembered by her students and pupils.
