An 87-years-old Khatije Kurtasanova has an incredible strength of mind. May 18th 1944 she was alone with her five brothers and sisters. they spent 7 month in exile having no idea where their parents were. Their mother finally found them, but died soon. Her brothers and sisters died as well. Khatije was the only one who survived. She became an obstetrician and an activist of Crimean Tatar national movement.
