97-year-old Akife Mazin, a native of the village of Uskut, will amaze anyone with her singing of Ilahi. As a child she often heard the texts of religious chants from her mother. This genre of religious music of the Crimean Tatars was common in the old days. Often ilahi were sung during religious ceremonies.
