Enver Ametov was 4 years old, when all the Crimean Tatars were accused of “betrayal”. The 1944 deportation, hunger, and tears had only strengthened his spirit and firmness of purpose. Being an activist of Crimean Tatar national movement he fought for his right to live in Crimea. He was deported seven times.
