Looking at 83-year-old Dlyara Ametova, a native of Balaklava, you see a fragile, small, but very strong woman who survived the war, the death of her father and a monstrous deportation. The long years of her life in a foreign land were spent in the struggle for survival. There she lived with one desire – to return to her homeland as soon as possible. But she was able to fulfill her dream together with her family only in 2003. Now her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren live in Crimea.
