Dilyara Velieva endured the indifference of loved ones, the horrors of war, and the deportation of 1944. But she withstood it. And today her home is again where she was born – in Crimea. Never having known a mother’s love, she generously gave it to her five children. A life that began with losses and tears has been filled with happiness and warmth. Now Dilyara hanım is surrounded by the care of loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren – the most important reward for all the trials she has endured.
