Dilyara Adzhimuratova: «I feel happy only in Crimea»

Dilyara Adzhimuratova, a native of the now-disappeared village of Kaymachy, is 84 years old. Like the entire Crimean Tatar people, she was expelled from Crimea in May 1944. At the age of 4, she lost her home, happy childhood, and homeland. For many years in a foreign land, she dreamed of seeing the Black Sea and breathing the air of her native places. She managed to do this only half a century later. Today, she is happy in her homeland surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
