Alie Mazinova was born in 1938 in Alupka. Her happy childhood in this picturesque corner of Crimea was interrupted by the deportation of 1944. Hunger and hard labor became her companions in the Mari region. But the dream of returning home warmed her even in the darkest times. And after many years, Alie Mazinova found her happiness where it all began — in Crimea, surrounded by her 3 children, 9 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
