105 years ago, on October 18, 1921, the Crimean ASSR was founded – the national republic of the Crimean Tatars on the territory of the peninsula. In memory of this event, a prayer service and a lecture were held in Aqmescit to recall the achievements and importance of this phenomenon in the history of the Crimean Tatar people. The event was attended by dozens of representatives of the Crimean Tatar intelligentsia and veterans of the national movement.
