What Was Education Like In Crimea After The Establishment Of Soviet Power?

The arrival of Soviet power in Crimea became a real revolution in the social, economic, and cultural life of the peninsula. One of the goals of the new government was the re-education of citizens, so special attention was paid to education. The policy of indigenization (korenizatsiya) contributed to the opening and development of national schools, but all the achievements of the early 1920s were erased by the repressions that began after 1928.
