As a schoolgirl, Sabriye Eredzhepova visited the «Bayan» cinema in Aqmescit – and fell in love with cinema from that very first moment. Since then, she never let go of her dream – to become a film or theater actress. This dream almost came true in 1935 when she was invited to the film «The Zaporozhian Cossack Beyond the Danube» by director I. Kavaleridze, based on the eponymous opera by Semen Hulak-Artemovsky.
