«Sarı Gəlin» – A Song Known Throughout the Turkic World

«They do not braid the ends of their hair. They do not pick flowers covered in dew…» – these are lines from the song «Sarı Gəlin» (literally – yellow bride), popular among many Turkic peoples. There are different versions about the song’s origin; it is believed to have originated in Karabakh. But «Sarı Gəlin» is performed by many peoples, including Crimean Tatars.
