The band «Ay Yola» together with singer Alsou presented a new hit – their interpretation of the folk song «Ay, Bylbylim» («Oh, My Nightingale»). This lyrical song is one of the most famous works of both the Tatar and Bashkir peoples. Both peoples lay equal claim to it. «Ay, Bylbylim» is called the «Yesterday of the Tatar world» – because it is part of the repertoire of every self-respecting Bashkir and Tatar singer. But the song’s roots trace back to Crimean Tatars – the melody of «Ay, Bylbylim» is borrowed from the humorous song of Crimean Tatars in Dobruja – «On eki de ördek».
