Answers to these questions can be found in Volume IV of the five-volume set «History of the Crimean Tatars,» published by the Crimean Scientific Center of the Sh. Marjani Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and presented in Akmesjit. An editorial board of 32 authors worked on the volume. The publication covers the historical period from the annexation of Crimea to the Russian Empire until the 1920s.
