In September 2025, Niyara Kurbanova’s book «Qaside. Threads of Fate» was published, based on the real memoirs of her grandmother. It is a chronicle of the life of a Crimean Tatar woman in the 20th century. The deportation of 1944, survival in special settlements in the Kostroma region of Russia and in Uzbekistan, and finally, the return to Crimea – Qaside’s path is full of trials that did not break her spirit. The book tells the most important thing: how to remain human in inhuman conditions and preserve the memory of one’s roots for future generations.
