Idris Asanin — a poet who survived the Gulag

He survived the deportation and imprisonment in the GULAG. But this did not stop the famous Crimean Tatar poet and writer Idris Asanin in the struggle for the rights of his people. The tragic fate of Crimean Tatars was reflected in his works, for which he spent 6 years in the camps. On August 6, 2007, he passed away.
