The bard of Bakhchisaray -Vladimir Yanovsky

He is called “the Bard of Crimea’s valleys and mountains”, “the Master of Sun palette”, “the Bard of Bakhchisaray”. A watercolour artist Vladimir Yanovsky was born in Crimea, and he lived all his life on the peninsula. In his sunlit paintings, dearest local places look like paradise on the Earth. A special attention in his works, the artist paid to Crimean Tatars. This year marks the 140 years since the birth of the artist and the 50-year anniversary of his death.
