Sites of Crimean Tatar architecture have become one of the main themes in the work of artist Elena Nagaevskaya since she first arrived in Bakhchisarai. The artist not only captured them in her paintings, but also fought for their preservation. You can see these paintings in the house-museum of Elena Nagaevskaya and Alexander Romm in Bakhchisarai. The museum’s exposition introduces the life and work of not only Nagaevskaya, but her husband, a man of outstanding intelligence, art critic Alexander Romm.
