The famous Russian artist Valentin Serov has repeatedly visited Crimea, which is reflected in his work. In the summer of 1893, together with his family, he rented a dacha in the village of Kokkoz, Bakhchisarai region. The former capital of the Crimean Khanate attracted Serov with its color: numerous mosques, narrow streets, original Crimean Tatar architecture.
