The names of many gifted artists of the early twentieth century are today unjustly forgotten. One of these artists is Grigory Kalmykov. He lived and worked in St. Petersburg, but often traveled to his homeland — to Crimea. In preparing the publication, materials from the site feolib.crimealib.ru were used.
