A childhood passion for travel grew into a life’s work. Ulker Seitbekirova started as an enthusiast of hiking across Crimea, but communicating with like-minded people and a deep interest in history transformed her into a true defender of the cultural code. Today, Ulker is a researcher at the Crimean Scientific Center of the Sh. Marjani Institute of History. She has an important mission: searching for forgotten Crimean Tatar architectural structures, documenting them, and meticulously preparing documents for the Ministry of Culture of Crimea to include them in the list of cultural heritage sites. In April, she submitted 7 applications, 4 of which were approved.
