A significant work by the renowned singer Dilyaver Osmanov – the collection «Qırımnıñ Çöl Cırları ve Çıñları» – has been published. This book is the result of the author’s many years of effort to collect and record Crimean Tatar folk songs from the steppe part of the peninsula. The new edition is a revised, substantially expanded, and dialectologically verified version of the previous work «Qırımnıñ Çöl Cırları» (Crimean Steppe Songs), released in 2005.
