Köydeşler Körüşüvi in Küçük-Uzen: The Usein Efendi Mosque Greets the Villagers

In the very heart of Crimea, in the picturesque village of Küçük-Uzen (Malorechenskoye), a touching event takes place annually – the *köydeşler körüşüvi*, a meeting of generations of Crimean Tatars. Here, by the walls of the ancient Usein Efendi Mosque, on whose minaret the blue flag proudly flies, symbolizing the indestructibility of the Crimean Tatar people, gather the natives of the village and their descendants. They communicate, share priceless memories, passing down living history from mouth to mouth. The entrance to the mosque courtyard is decorated with stands displaying photographs of natives of Küçük-Uzen, creating a connection between the past and the present. This event is a true embodiment of unity, memory, and deep love for the native land.
